There is a recession going on in peoples MLM home business opportunity that has nothing to do with the current economy. This recession per se has been going on since the new kid on the block came on the scene.

You used to be able to follow a ‘simple formula’ which is to get 3 to get 3 to get 3 CRAP to get a huge downline in whatever MLM opportunity you were in. That didn’t work for many people.

So who is the new kid on the block? Why is it causing such an uproar in countless home based business opportunities? Will things ever go back to how they used to be in network marketing?

A resounding NO will suffice. The internet has changed the way network marketing is being done. If you want to stay the traditional route then you will see the effects of a recession in your commission checks.

The reason why so many network marketers are getting small checks is because we live in the information age now. Anything that anybody wants to know about a particular company, product, leader, comp plan, etc can be found on the net.

This means if your MLM home business opportunity is not what they are looking for after they do their own reviews then bye bye bye. That is why its so easy for someone to have a huge downline one day and the next day its gone.

People tend to have the mentality that the grass is always greener on the other side. So they leave and start a career of jumping from company to company thinking the new product, comp plan, of company being new will guarantee them success. I used to think the same way, need I say I was naive. It is ignorant for anyone to believe that.

I used to think the simple answer for this problem was to learn how to brand yourself first and not your MLM home business opportunity.

To learn how to master MLM marketing online. It is true people only want to know what can you do for them and where you will lead them. If you can’t show anyone your value you are dead in the water.

The problem that grew from this phenomenon of personal branding was “leaders” and “gurus” jumping up all over the internet showing you how to profit in your MLM home business. Yet MOST of these “leaders” were faking it and hadn’t made a dime.

Although I think personal branding is key for long term growth I do believe there is an easier way to start making money online and avoiding the recession so many MLM’ers are facing.

Because the internet is such a dynamic force here are my revised pillars of success that must be in place to stop the recession in your network marketing business. They are as follow.

1. Learn how to market online driving traffic to a highly converting sales funnel.
2. Use a high power marketing system that leverages the expertise of those that are excellent at selling to prospects SELL TO YOUR PROSPECTS.
3. Cut out the middle man and get paid all the money
